Justin Bieber just bought Kid Rock's old tour bus, which was known back in the day as The Devil's Den. Is this the end of JB's squeaky-clean image? More importantly, what will Selena Gomez say? And what on earth possessed the Teen Dream to purchase anything that once belonged to one of the all-time bad boys of rock?
So far, Justin Bieber hasn't stepped up to volunteer an answer to any of the above questions. However, Kid Rock, a man not known for his reticence or timidity, has already commented on the ironic humor of JB's purchase.
"I was like, 'Did you have that thing sanitized, young man?'" Kid Rock recalled in an interview with Time Out Chicago. "That bus, for a few years, was just evil. Now it's like an ice-cream truck."
Kid Rock also described the tour bus' interior in a manner that made it sound like the perfect set for the filming of a "soft-core porn" movie.
"I had the bus made with all red leather," boasted Kid Rock. "It had embossed Detroit Ds, a skylight and a fiber-optic see-through shower. You just look at it, and go, 'Oh, doesn't look like anything positive happened in here.'"
As always, the media seems to be taking all of this a tad too much to heart. Justin Bieber bought a tour bus from Kid Rock. That doesn't mean he's suddenly going to turn into Bluebeard.
Furthermore, the Biebs is 17 years old, for goodness sake, not 12. As for his girlfriend, 19-year-old Selena Gomez, possibly worrying that the "past [will] creep into the future," who knows? Maybe she'll like it. Actually, it sounds like a cool place to make out.
